Our client in Thornlands had an electrical fire in their old Shed and the structure was condemned. Luckily, they had insurance and Totally Sheds worked with the insurance company to replace like with a few notable improvements.
We supplied and constructed a brand new 10.5m x 15.25m x 4.3m Steel Shed and utilised the existing slab and piers. This Steel Building is all Colorbond, with walls in Wind Spray and the roller doors in Deep Ocean. We were able to get larger doors in the design and all with an opening height of 3.7m, with automatic openers and back-up batteries installed for access if the power goes out.
Totally Sheds also upgraded the roof purlins to allow for the installation of solar panels large enough to power the pool and entire house. In addition, a number of skylights were installed to bathe the shed in natural light.
We also fitted a huge mezzanine floor in the building creating 80 sqm of new usable space within the Steel Shed without compromising any floor space/clearance underneath. The mezzanine was completed with access via stairs with handrail and balustrade to the whole floor (to relevant codes) all supplied and constructed by Totally Sheds.
Our client was so happy we also supplied and constructed a carport for them.
